Max Planck Institute for Meteorology
Scientists at the Max-Planck-Institute for Meteorology develop complex models and measuring techniques needed to understand the natural variability of the atmosphere, the oceans and the biosphere and to estimate anthropologic influences on the system Earth. The department "Oceans in the Earth system" focusses on oceanographic processes and the interaction of the oceans with other components of the Earth system.
