Horizon Europe
Since its foundation, KDM has been active in European and international projects and networks. EU-funded research and innovation projects are particularly important for scientific exchange in Europe and for building joint European capacities. Horizon Europe is the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation for 2021 to 2027, which aims to build a knowledge- and innovation-based society and competitive economy and contribute to sustainable development through projects funded by Horizon Europe.
KDM assumes the roles of a door opener for new contacts, a bridge to political institutions and processes and a platform for science in social dialogue. In addition, KDM participates in EU projects that are of strategic relevance to German marine research.
