Blue Action

Blue-Action is a four-year project of the European Union's Horizon 2020 programme with a budget of €7.5 million. It brings together experts from 40 organisations in 17 countries on three continents, working in science, local authorities and marine industry. By combining their expertise, skills, methods and networks, the partners aim to improve the analysis of observations, modelling and predictions of weather and climate on seasonal to decadal time scales in the Arctic and over the Northern Hemisphere. The results will have implications for decision-making processes in societies and economies in Eurasia and North America.
